As I was coming back from getting my mail, I heard this swift shuffling next to me and then, next thing I know there is a black cat with long fur, white paws, white jaw, and yellow green eyes jumping up and down against my legs, demanding to be pet. I bent down and pet her a bit and realized that I had seen her before. The first time, I had opened my garage to put out my garbage. That time, I tried to get her to follow me inside so that I could give her something to eat (she was painfully thin), but as I entered the garage and opened a can of tuna for her, she vanished.
This time though, she actually followed me when I asked her to. I left the front door open so she didn't feel trapped or threatened in anyway, so she stayed with me for a long while. She ate her tuna, explored every inch of my house (which meant her staring at certain closed doors until I opened them), and then left.
I decided to nick name her Kira, just because the name seems to suit her. She's a very talkative little thing and we had quite a conversation at one point. I have no idea what I said to her, but I hope it was something friendly. She didn't seem offended, so I assume I was being polite. At one point, she was eating her tuna and I actually heard her go, "Omnomnomnom". It was cute
I hope I see her again some time...

If the stars are so far away and logic tells us we can never touch them...why do we stretch our fingers towards the sky?
